This is really a great opportunity, a very visual representation of how the tides and currents affect sailors on the Bay.  Sail maker Kame Richards (Pineapple Sails) will give his slide show in the auditorium using high altitude photos to show the patterns on the Bay waters followed by a demo on the bay model in action.  Kame puts out little floats on the Bay Model to show the direction and flow of the changing tides and narrates and answers questions.  Cruisers, racers, and recreational boaters will see and learn how the waters move on San Francisco Bay.
